Aprovecho Research Center in Cottage Grove, Oregon offers free tours on the first Sunday of the month. The tour starts at 2:00 and is led by various members of the staff. We will discuss the different aspects of Aprovecho while giving you a chance to see the property and have some of your questions answered. No need to call in advance, just show up! Ecovillage Ithaca, New York offers free public tours on the last Saturday of each month at 3:00 pm. Tours meet at the FROG Common House. You do not need to make reservations in advance for the tour. EcoVersity in Santa Fe, NM hosts Volunteer Garden Parties, complete with a luscious potluck, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Hang out with EcoV caretakers and friends, collecting seed, harvesting food, preparing the beds for winter. Then sit down to a meal and great conversation.
